The Board of Trustees of the Künstlerhaus Boswil and its Managing Director Claudio Rossetti are extremely proud to announce that they have been able to recruit the world-renowned top violinist Julia Fischer and the renowned Aargau cellist Benjamin Nyffenegger as artistic directors of the "Boswiler Sommer" festival.
The duo will introduce themselves as the artistic management team as early as July 5, 2023, as part of the anniversary concerts "70 years of Künstlerhaus Boswil", organize smaller festival activities in the course of 2024, and then present the first complete summer festival in 2025.

Julia Fischer starts her residency with the Staatskapelle Dresden with performances from November 13 to 23, first in Dresden and then on tour.

At the beginning of November 2020, Julia Fischer stepped in at short notice as soloist in Beethoven's Violin Concerto in a special concert of the Staatskapelle Dresden at the Kulturpalast. Following this acclaimed debut, she will appear several times with the Staatskapelle in the 2022/2023 season as the new Capell virtuoso.
