Julia Fischer starts her residency with Vienna Symphony mid November. For the opening concert of the residency she performs Mendelssohn's violin concerto with Philippe Jordan. She can also be heard as a chamber musician, not only as a violinist but also as a pianist. Together with Philippe Jordan and musicians of the orchestra she plays a. o. Dvořák's piano quintet and Schubert's Fantasy in F minor for piano, four hands.
