Julia Fischer returns on July 10-11 to the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, with which she is very familiar, and of which she is one of the soloist prize winners. In Stralsund's St. Nikolai Church, she presents two young musicians, pianist Robert Neumann and cellist Friedrich Thiele. In alternating duos, the musicians will play late works by Schumann and Ravel before concluding the evening with Shostakovich's melancholy Piano Trio No. 2.
In the festival barn of Ulrichshusen Castle, Julia Fischer and her quartet colleague Nils Mönkemeyer will this time perform in a duo constellation: together with the Kammerakademie Potsdam, they will present Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante on July 11.
