Julia Fischer is founding a children's orchestra in the south-west of Munich together with Johannes X. Schachtner and Henri Bonamy. The "Kindersinfoniker" will be a string orchestra with musicians between 6 and 14 years old. The first auditions will be held in July 2019, with rehearsals beginning in September under the direction of Johannes X. Schachtner.
"All children should learn an instrument, as music brings out their sensitivity, instills responsibility and gives them respect for their fellow musicians", explains Julia Fischer. "You can't begin to teach children these qualities early enough. And it was this that led me to found this new orchestra with my former fellow students."
